Welcome the Return of the Swainson’s Hawk
On Saturday, April 14, Friends of the River Banks (FORB) held its fourth annual “Welcome the Return of Swainson’s hawks.” Hikers were rewarded with White-tailed Kite, Red-shouldered Hawks, Tree Swallows, and many more sightings. Two pairs of recently returned Swainson’s hawks soared high overhead to make the day complete. Don’t miss this event next year.
